Birthday Prezzies!

Oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy! I scored this year!

This is what my brother and my sister-in-law gave me! Possibly intended mostly as a show piece/curiousity, but it still takes film!!! Glaaaaah.

It's a Graflex Crown Graphic and has an adapter for 120 film. I think I have figured out how to use it, but I'm still not positive about loading the film. Here it is all ready for some sheets of 4x5 film:

Here's something else to drool over!

This baby is an 11 x 17 inch print of "Astronaut Fall" by Nicholas Gurewitch (aka The Perry Bible Fellowship). Did I mention it was signed?!

Watch out! Don't get your drool all over it! Here's a note he sent with it:

He signed it "Nicky"! That means he loves me!

Here's Rizzo in his new hat and scarf! Adorable!

Here's the on-line version, although without a scarf, since you can't get those. That smaller hippo is Murdock. Freak out!

Here's a giant tube full of jelly beans. I'm saving them for a camping trip. How sweet will it be sitting by the fire with a tube of candy? Maybe I can take it hiking before I eat them. Haha. Like I would hike. At least if I do hike, then pass out, the jelly beans might revive me.

Gumby!

And Pokey!

Along with some glow in the dark tattoos, also useful for camping trips!

Nightmare Before Christmas related items! This one is from someone who I'm pretty sure spent too much on them because he felt bad about not being able to make it to my Fantasmaranza Birthday Extravaganza. Not that I don't appreciate it! People should really be spending 10% of their income on me. (UPDATE!! Turns out that while he did feel bad about not being able to make it, he really just spent money on me because he likes me. Go figure!)

Mugs!

Cupcake stand! Someone plan a party so cupcakes can be made and put in this stand and then eaten!

Book! What has it taught me so far? My apartment will be destroyed.

And last but not least, the gift I gave myself:

And really, isn't letting Stephen into your life the greatest gift you can give yourself?

Looking back on this post, I clearly have wonderful friends and family, because I raked it in this year!

Thanks windrider! Wow, I haven't been around in awhile. And my poor Graflex is just waiting to be tested. I keep telling it, when it's warm enough it will be used to full glory.
