Christmas Trees!

I'm home for the holidays so me and my mom decided to decorate one of the trees along the road in and out of town for a laugh. Turns out, it's extremely difficult. Most trees are much taller than me, despite my being six feet tall in my winter boots. Also, it is FREEZING here! So our hands went numb and every needle on the tree that touched us literally felt like a needle was stabbing us. My wrists and hands got scratched to hell. But it was still a laugh, as you can tell by our tree that looks like there was an explosion at the tinsel and bow factory.

Also, in lieu of a gingerbread house this year, as I had made one at Halloween, I made a gingerbread Christmas tree. Getting the consistency of the icing wrong has become somewhat of a holiday tradition with me. I guess I'll just have to settle for melty looking gingerbread by-products.

That's what I imagine Santa's bowel movements must look like.

And taste like.

Why must you always try to one-up me?

"Luckily after it was removed the lump on Mrs. Claus' overy was found to be malingnent."

"Unfortunately, however, that meant she would still have to tell Santa about the abortion."

"Not knowing what else to do, Mary attempted to hide Jesus' twin sister's crib death from Joseph using icing and gum balls."

And thus was born the modern tradition of the Christmas Tree Cake.

(we should probably stop soon)

I was going to add "Hence the tradition of the gingerbread house" but then I scrolled and saw you had beaten me to it. I believe we are of equal wit and bad taste. Kudos to us.

That tree you decorated is never going to be able to live that down. All the other trees will whisper to him "...fag..."

Those other trees are just jealous because he's so fabulous.

I was wondering why that tree reminded me of high school. And junior high school. And elementary school. And kindergarden....
